A holistic approach to Physical Recovery and healing
Recovery sessions can support healing from injuries and other conditions like chronic back pain, migraines, neck and shoulder pain, teeth grinding, anxiety, and other painful conditions.
In my holistic approach, I look at each person as a whole with a unique life story, strengths, beliefs, hopes, dreams and resources. Every individual has a unique body structure and with that, unique requirements in order to heal.
After researching and studying for many years in this field I realized that true well-being can only be achieved when our total being is addressed and works together as a whole. Muscles, bones, emotions, the facial network, our nervous- and immune systems, habits, and movement patterns are all inseparably linked and influence each other and make us who we are. My approach to healing is to address all of these aspects of ourselves.
This Somatic Bodywork approach raises the energy level and body awareness using touch and implementing appropriate movement exercises, breathing, and relaxation techniques. To support a fast recovery a handout with recommended exercises to train at home will also be provided.
I give special attention to empowering my clients and teaching them to maintain their level of well-being. Through my many years of practice and training, I have in my toolkit both practical experience and many different techniques to support physical recovery.

Liebscher & Bracht Therapy

Liebscher & Bracht uses a manual therapeutic technique called “osteopressure” to press signal pain receptors in the periosteum — the fasciae-containing membrane surrounding the bones. By doing this, the brain programs responsible for the pain are reset, and the muscular-fascial tensions are normalized. As a result, the traction between the vertebral bodies and the joint surfaces is reduced as well. The receptors pick up this information and relay it to the brain, which in turn stops sending pain signals.
The success of this method demonstrates that pain is often connected and results from muscular-fascial tensions that the brain registers, these tensions are the consequence of little to no physical exercise and minimal as well as one-sided movement patterns.
In the first treatment, we can assess whether one’s pain is related to excess stress on muscles and fasciae and if the Liebscher & Bracht therapy is going to help.

Myofascial Release is a holistic safe and very effective hands-on technique. Through the use of a multitude of manual techniques and movement, I can release deep-seated restrictions in the fascial network. I aim for structural balance and alignment in the body of my clients.
